About Antonia Krueger

Antonia S. Krueger is an interdisciplinary scholar and creator who works in the fields of life narratives, performance, communication, psychology, language studies, ecology, and internatural communication.She wrote the first book length narrative biography of Jessica Tandy, with unprecedented access to the Tandy and Cronyn archives collection housed at the Library of Congress and personal correspondence with Hume Cronyn. In keeping with an ongoing interest in life narratives and auto/biography, in 2009 she studied current research in memory and learning through course work under and by assisting in the cognitive neuroscience research lab of Dr. Wilma Koutstaal in the University of Minnesota Psychology Department. She has participated in a Women\'s Memoir Writing Group conducted by Margot Galt.Subjects taught include psychology, public speaking, cross cultural communication, introduction to communication, Shakespeare, acting, academic writing, editing for academic purposes, theatre history, dramatic literature, dance history, English grammar, playwriting, interdisciplinary arts, ecodrama, zooesis in performance, and others. Tonia is also a performer and writer.Areas of interest: auto/biographical theory, auto/biographical writing, bicultural/transcultural autobiographical narratives, autobiographical memory study (cognitive neuroscience), acting, dramaturgy, 20th century theatre history and literature, Shakespearean performance, voice and dialects, ecodramaturgy, ecology and performance, internatural communication, creating new works, meaning making as a therapeutic practice, meaning making and cognitive processes.
