This program furthers the Department of Justice\'s mission by reducing recidivism among youth returning to their communities following confinement and under community supervision while promoting the fair administration of justice and advancing public safety.The CLC, Inc. Second Chance Act (SCA) Youth Offender Reentry Project (YORP) will partner with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to demonstrate a model program for successfully supporting 75 youth offenders who are members of the TJJD Residential Population in their transition from incarceration back into the community.
