ABOUT ANTONELLA VARESANO
Antonella Varesano is an independent research in multimedia digital tech, new media languages, semiotic and new kinds of communication strategies, mostly in how to use technologies as creative tools in schools and companies. She began her career in 1986 developing projects for schools of all topics and levels, from to 2008 she taught subjects as Multimedia Technologies, New Media Studies, and Visual Design at Udine University, Graduate Program for Multimedia Technicians, Pordenone, Italy. From to 2005 she created and directed the NewMediaLab, a private institution in Trieste devoted to the use of Technology as a Humanities matter. Strongly involved in both, research and design activities related to interaction design and visual interfaces she developed good experience as a project manager in teams involved in User-Centred Design and Interaction Design creative processes. She worked as consultant for research projects between Companies and Universities and from 2013 to 2018 she worked as head officer for the Regional Minister of Culture in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Currently, she is a freelance digital senior consultant and teaches the subject of Social Digital Innovation at Udine University interested in the use of AI technologies for ICC Cultural and Creative Industries development.
