ABOUT ANTONELLA SPIEZIA
I graduated in “Science and Technology of the Industrial Chemistry” with specialization in Polymer Science at “Federico II” University in Naples (Italy).The period of the academic formation allowed me to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the scientific method of investigation related to product-process connections, molecular structure - properties of materials, scale changes and sustainable development. The extensive laboratory activity I have carried out has enabled me to acquire expertise in the analytical techniques related to the physico-mechanical properties of polymeric materials as well as their thermal analysis (DSC, TGA) and X-Ray scattering tecniques (WAXS and SAXS). All these techniques have been used to study the relationships between the molecular structure and the physical properties of semicrystalline polymeric materials based on stereoregular polyolefins. I earned knowledge of other analytical tecniques useful for the detection of organic matter such as GC-MS, HPLC, Ion-exchange cromatography, NMR, FT-IR, UV-VIS, the analysis of metal concentrations via ICP-OES.I believe in the value of research and technological innovation wich is essential to keep up with the increasing demand of the market; besides they represent a continuous stimulus to work at high pace, always giving the maximum.
