As head of communications for the North American region (Canada, USA, and Mexico), manages all internal and external communications. • Supports C-level communications and works regularly with the Operating Board North America. • Develops and executes communication strategies and plans for the region to increase brand awareness, talent acquisition, and employee engagement and retention. • In close collaboration with COO and VP of Human Resources recommends key business messages for annual and monthly North America communications. • Works with the Human Resource department to prepare communications related to all company benefits, recruiting efforts, and programs such as community involvement and diversity, equity and inclusion. • Partners with the European headquarters’ communications team to disseminate communications related to subjects such as employee branding, sustainability, and environmental, social, and governance initiatives. • Prepared an extensive collection of memos, letters, safety procedures, customer communications, press releases, newsletters, safety videos, and employee engagement videos for the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. • Writes, designs, and translates a bimonthly and trilingual internal digital newsletter that reaches more than employees. • Prepares digital content for the company’s intranet, North America website, and social media channels. • Works with key functions on preparing internal and external awareness campaigns for strategic projects, initiatives or announcements, including mergers and acquisitions. • Prepares media statements, holding statements, press releases, and talking points for key stakeholders and board members.
