I\'m now Responsible for purchasing fabrics and ribbons for Leather goods Division (non apparel items) both for Collection and Production, managing a team of 6. Working closely with quality inspectors to guarantee the fabrics are made as for Designers request in respect of all technical standards required. Discussing with suppliers to achieve the best contracts and prices, to ensure the standards in raw materials quality are met and planning the best deliveries. In charge of price negotiation with suppliers from protos to production final prices. Sharing ideas and strategies with designers, technicians and production offices, demonstrating strong skills in problem solving and negotiation. The dynamic working flow of the firm allowes to gain a deep knowledge of every step of produciton, from the sketch to the final product.
