ABOUT ANTON RAKHMANOV

I’m a data scientist and engineer with a strong background in business strategy, and more than 10 years of analytics experience. I have helped shape and measure efforts of Shopify, Scotiabank, Toyota, Infiniti, Prodigy Education, Toshiba, CPA Canada, Chess.com and a multitude of smaller CPG brands.I use a systematic approach: working with my team and stakeholders to define the strategic space, the go-to-market plan, and the insights that data can deliver against the two. My approach helps teams to structure their thinking and execution while monitoring their current performance. Most importantly, this approach makes retrospection easy; teams that I assist have a clear understanding of how to improve going forward, whether that’s uncovering a blind spot, eliminating a false premise in the initial strategy, or simply refining through testing.I’ve worked with a lot of different technologies, most recently:+ Python (DBT and PySpark) for ETL and dimensional modelling+ Airflow, Databricks, & Oozie for data workflow management+ Sisense, Mode, & Tableau for data visualization+ SQL against Snowflake, Presto, Redshift, and BigQuery+ JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front end development+ C#(Unity) and C++(SDL2) for game developmentI’m interested in Marketing, and Video Games.
