As humans, in all areas of life, we ignore the occasional sudden sensations of (acute) pain until it becomes a persistent (chronic) pain lasting for months and years. When the pain becomes an unbearable nusciance suddenly we just want it to stop or we just might die. We need a pain reliver now. The same thing happens in business.
