The Carroll Center helps blind and visually-impaired people gain the skills they need to be confident, active, independent individuals. Established in 1936, the Center has pioneered innovative methods for blind persons to gain independence in their homes, in class settings, and in their work places. New and evolving technologies, combined with time-tested adaptive methods, individualized instruction, and personalized therapies developed by the Carroll Center staff, have provided thousands of blind and vision impaired persons with diverse opportunities for success and independent living.

ABOUT ANTOINE JUNIOR MELAY
Antoine J. Melay is the Vice President of Client Relations for Workforce Development Training. A senior strategic leadership position at Windwalker Group. His primary responsibility is to lead the strategic growth and the delivery of workforce development trainings in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and other states. Mr. Melay focuses on financial analytics, strategic partnerships, community & economic development. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Management Division of Babson College, where he teaches Strategic Problem Solving.Mr. Melay is currently responsible for corporate relations for the National Association of Black Accountants in Boston. He is the treasurer and active member of the Boston Arts Academy (BAA) Foundation and Carney Hospital\'s Community Benefits Council. Over the years, he has worked in various public and private institutions, including Liberty Mutual, the Division of Insurance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the American International Group (AIG). Prior to that, he was an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). He was appointed to the board of Bunker Hill Community College by the former Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2011. While serving this board, Melay became the second Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and former Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Melay serves on several committees and councils working to promote leadership, community engagement, and economic development. He is a member of the Latino-Jewish Roundtable, an organization working to advance alliances and partnership between the Latino and Jewish communities. He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University and a BS in Corporate Finance & Accounting from Bentley College.
