With over 30 years of leadership across the military, nonprofit, tech, and community sectors, I’ve made it my mission to build and scale systems that drive equity, sustainability, and measurable outcomes. As a 3x HBCU grad and Navy veteran, my approach is rooted in faith, fatherhood, and a belief that collaboration fuels generational change.Currently serving as the Fractional COO for B-SAG (Black Sheep Advocacy Group), FMU (Frontline Millionaires University), CPIN (Closed Private Investment Network), CEO of Virginia Black Nonprofit Alliance, CEO of Veteran\'s HomeFront and as Volunteer Coordinator with The Network Incubator, I guide organizations in transforming bold ideas into operational systems. I’ve also been an Accelerator consultant and coach for the Regional Black Chamber and Norfolk State University.     As the Internship Manager for the HBCU BEMEI (Black Economic Mobility & Equity Initiative) Program, I oversee the strategic design, implementation, and coordination of a powerful, AI-powered national internship initiative. This program partners with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Black-led nonprofits, social justice networks, and equity-focused funders to build a pipeline of Black student leaders committed to transforming the next 7 generations. Core Responsibilities:*Lead the development of the semester-based internship curriculum, training, and engagement strategy*Manage intern onboarding, weekly mentorship sessions, and deliverables tracking*Coordinate regional research projects tied to legacy Black institutions, equity opportunity zones, and digital mapping*Collaborate with partners such as Operation HOPE and the Shawn Carter Foundation to align wealth-building and policy learning with real-world practice*Integrate AI tools to match interns with specialized community transformation work based on their resumes, majors, LinkedIn, and superpowers*Organize semester-end Equity Opportunity Events in various U.S. states, connecting interns to funders, innovators, and opportunity pipelines Purpose & Vision:This internship isn’t just about workforce readiness—it’s about power-building. It activates Black student brilliance, links them to sustainable strategies, and equips them with tech-forward tools to dismantle disparities in health, education, economics, and land ownership.
