About Anthony Williott
Tony devotes his practice to the defense of hospitals, physicians, extended care facilities, insurance companies and their insureds, and manufacturers, in civil litigation. Throughout his more than 28-year career, Tony has defended hundreds of medical liability lawsuits and more than civil lawsuits overall, including product liability, breach of warranty, defamation, bad faith and traditional personal injury defense in addition to his work in medical liability defense. Tony has extensive courtroom experience, having tried more than 100 jury, UM/UIM and non-jury trials.In recognition of his work as a trial lawyer, Tony was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County in 2003, his first year of nomination. The Academy of Trial Lawyers is by invitation and election only, limited to the best 125 Plaintiffs\' trial lawyers and the best 125 Defense trial lawyers out of more than lawyers in Allegheny County. Tony has also been selected a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer on multiple occasions, and has held a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating for the past 15+ years.
