I am an experienced IT professional with a focus on risk and security, currently working as an IT Risk and Security Consultant at MetLife. In my role, I lead efforts to ensure firewall compliance is above 90%, evaluate the risk associated with new technologies, and perform security assessments of systems, applications, data centers, and service providers. I have also led various projects, such as the centralization of network inventory and the NAC project.Prior to joining MetLife, I worked as a Senior Network Security Analyst at MetLife, where I implemented changes on Cisco ASA firewalls and evaluated changes following change control processes. Before that, I worked as a Professional Network Security Engineer at AT & T, where I implemented MACDs for AT & T Managed Network Security and performed troubleshooting on various devices such as Cisco PIX/ASA Firewall, Cisco Routers, Blue Coat Proxies, Juniper Firewalls, Network-Based Firewalls (Fortinet), and Check Point Firewalls.My previous experience also includes working as a Hardware Test Engineer Contractor at IBM, where I conducted product validation on servers and workstations, and as an Escalation Manager Student Intern at AT & T, where I provided Tier 2 support for business customers and worked closely with domestic telecom carriers.Throughout my career, I have gained experience in managing policies and procedures, conducting vendor risk assessments, and training new team members. I am passionate about researching new technologies and standards to continuously improve the risk assessment process. Additionally, I have experience in customer service, having worked as a Photo Tech at Walgreens, where I monitored equipment operation, troubleshot photo lab equipment, and provided customer service and sales assistance.
