The Entertainment Manager is responsible for successfully delivering entertainment events for resort guests. They handle the entertainment department’s programming, administrative/business, development, and people management aspects. Venues included, but not limited to, the RE Holding Pavilion, Sun Valley Opera House, après ski at base lodges, and restaurants.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop original programming and establish new partnerships for the resort at large utilizing all four of our primary venues including a 1,500 seat outdoor, covered amphitheater with a lawn capacity of guests. Contract with all related parties including Talent Buying, Backline, Production, and all necessary vendors to execute large scale concerts and music festivals. Oversee the execution of approximately 140+ events annually- nearly one event every 3 days- ranging in scope and scale from small, busking style concerts to large-scale music festivals.Oversee the administration of the Entertainment Department including accounting, ticketing, front of house, facility operations, recruiting, hiring, training, and managing a rotating team of up to 10 full-time staff. Work inter-departmentally with the entire resort and special groups including the Director of Recreation, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Marketing, Director of Grounds, and the Director of Mountain Operations to ensure safety, quality, cleanliness, and consistency of all programs and facilities.
