About Tony Marmo

It took Tony Marmo 35 years to go full circle. In 1980, as The Kingston Hospital Director of Human Resources, Tony became one of the first clients of the professional employment agency that he would acquire in May 2014. During the in-between decades, Tony moved through various executive roles at the hospital, most notably as its President and CEO for nine years until 2003. He began his healthcare career in 1977 at St. Lukes Hospital in Newburgh, N.Y. Tony has been President and CEO of Kingston Regional Healthcare System; CEO of Margaretville Hospital; Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for the Northeast Center for Special Care, Lake Katrine, N.Y; the Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Troy, N.Y. and Care One at Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, N.J.In May 2014, Tony purchased one of the Hudson Valley\'s premier staffing agencies from founders Rob and Lorraine Normann. Providing people with positions and careers they love is a passion of Tony\'s. He has always considered himself a Connector and Matchmaker!Tony has been devoted to the community and volunteerism during his career. He started volunteering in 1985 when he joined the Highland Rotary Club. His love of Rotary brought him to become District Governor of the 8 county Hudson Valley region known as District 7210. He was Co-Founder and has served as President of the Ulster County Italian American Foundation; Chair of the Ulster County Workforce Development Board; Co-Founder and Board member of Ulster Strong, an economic development board connected to the Hudson Valley Economic Development, where he is a also a Board member. Tony has held past board seats on the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce and its Foundation Board; the YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and the Alzheimers Association.Tony has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Long Island University (1985), a Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration from Pace University (1977) and lives in Ulster Park, N.Y. with his wife Lee Ann.
