I am a board-certified Occupational & Environmental Medicine physician with a background spanning military flight surgery, public health, and civilian workers’ compensation care. My training at UCSF and UC Berkeley (MPH) shaped my interest in practical, evidence-based approaches to worker health, prevention, and safe return to function.Across my Navy and civilian roles, I’ve learned the value of clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and steady, patient-centered care—especially in complex or high-stake environments. I focus on helping injured workers navigate recovery, coordinating care with specialists and employers, and promoting systems that reduce unnecessary disability while supporting meaningful work.I’m particularly interested in modern pain science, functional restoration, and improving the day-to-day processes that make occupational health more efficient and transparent for everyone involved. My goal is always to combine sound clinical judgment with practical solutions that help patients, teams, and organizations move forward.Outside of work, I enjoy time with family, being outdoors, and staying active.
