Click on the “see more.”under the founding dean description below for exciting news! In my role as dean, my purpose is similar to that of our college of engineering. Namely, I) To help students discover and be equipped for their purpose, so that they might experience the joy of meaningful work and that their lives might be characterized by service. All of this is so that they might \"shine before humanity\" and their work result in praise to the God who created and redeemed them. Isaiah 61:3 and Matt 5:16 This is achieved through intentionally including our constituents in prayer and as strategic partners, the hiring of mature Christian staff and faculty,and the continual development and delivery of outstanding wholistic curriculum. II) To help business leaders and their companies by creating an opportunity for them to truly partner with an engineering college to produce quality engineers that will be of tremendous value to their companies and society. Also to provide them additional ways to network with each other.(This is actualized by among other things 1) participation in the Dean\'s strategic advisory board and various program advisory councils, 2) hiring our students as interns (which are required prior to graduation!) and eventually as engineers, 3) entering into joint grant and development activities that are win win win and 4) helping to provide necessary resources. To help provide individual and groups of engineers and others a way for their wisdom to find an outlet for significant impact.(This is achieved through our curriculum partners and speakers bureau.)
