ABOUT ANTHONY LÉTOURNEAU
Research-Focused Mechanical Engineering Student | Innovation in Materials, Sustainable Technology & Community Engagement I am a fourth-year mechanical engineering student at the University of Ottawa, passionate about advancing research in materials science, sustainable engineering, and manufacturing innovation. Awards and Recognitions: I am honoured to have received numerous awards, including the prestigious Loran Scholarship, the NSERC Undergraduate Research Scholarship, and the Stantec Mechanical Engineering Scholarship. I have also been awarded the Governor General’s Academic Medal and the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal, reflecting my high academic achievements and my commitment to leadership, resilience, and community engagement. Entrepreneurship & Community Involvement: Beyond research, I am actively engaged in my community as an entrepreneur and volunteer. As the founder of 3D Tony, a custom 3D printing and CNC services business, I work with local schools and organizations to deliver workshops and projects that introduce young people to STEM fields. My roles with Enactus uOttawa and Engineers Without Borders allow me to contribute to social impact initiatives and foster inclusivity and innovation in engineering.
