I am somewhat of a jack-of-all trades at my company, doing management and supervision of the various divisions, some sales and quoting, some purchasing, day-to-day manufacturing management, and goal-setting and benchmarking. My specialties are cost studies, quoting, pricing, financial analysis, and problem solving. Our packing/crating/military packaging and our industrial sewing divisions bring different issues to me, but many have similarities when viewed from a cost or financial standpoint. The recent launching of our e-commerce website has been challenging, but the results so far are encouraging. I also keep my eye out for potential acquisitions that would blend well with our company.
