Developed custom Python application for the lab of Nobel Prize winner Michael Rosbash to monitor cellular biology experiments in real time, utilizing computer vision techniques and algorithms to track specimen motion- Additionally designed and built a responsive and intuitive GUI that allows for scientists to quickly set up experiments, specify parameters, and monitor performance- Data analysis model built to conform to scientific standards of accuracy and reproducibility and fit into existing proprietary software pipeline- Automates and replaces the existing laborious process with more specific data and a multifold reduction in experiment time, enabling research previously impossible. Experiment results to be published in forthcoming research paper.
