Responsible for: • Development of all functional units within my purview. • Global oversight & delivery of critical raw materials, consumables & reagents in support of patient needs including: o Risk identification, scenario planning & sourcing of alternatives as necessitated by the pandemic, political issues & related material shortages. o Determination of viable means of logistics for fresh in/out therapy. o Coordination of critical domestic & international logistics. o Creation & MGMT of departmental budget & cross functional supply/demand forecasts. o Accountable for warehouse operational readiness. • Deployment of critical supply chain & logistics MGMT systems including IRT, ERP & autologous therapy chain of custody: o Vendor identification, vetting & selection through rigorous RFP process. o Contract terms & pricing negotiation. • Management of key contract development, alignment of T&C & pricing negotiation optimizing COGS including: o PrePPQ/PPQ operations in support of BLA readiness for both API & DP. o Garnering strategic relationships with essential vendors & CDMOs. o Charge of OQ/PQ for production of medical device. • Organizational gap identification, analysis & solution including: o Development of SOPs supporting preparation for Ph3 & BLA readiness. o Identification & trending of KPIs to drive results & ensure continuous improvement. • Building & improving the end-to-end supply chain, logistics, procurement & planning department. o Organizational alignment & planning with cross functional teams such as Program Management, Finance, Legal, Clin Ops, MSAT/PD, MFG, R&D, Quality, Reg Affairs, Med Affairs & Facilities. o Interviewing, hiring & developing team members. o Identification of OKRs. • Commercial Strategy Planning including: o Determine tactical locations for cell processing hubs to support global logistical feasibility in a decentralized manufacturing network. o Conduct scenario analyses to maximize support of business needs.
