ABOUT ANTHONY ZIZZA

With over a decade of experience in healthcare, my recent transition to Chief Medical Officer of Element Care Pace has been the pinnacle of a career dedicated to geriatric medicine. Element Care is a leading Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and managed care provider for Senior Care Options (SCO). Element Care is a non-profit healthcare organization with a simple mission: to help older adults live safely and comfortably in their homes and communities for as long as they can, keeping their stays in hospitals and nursing facilities as minimal as possible. The organization offers a holistic approach to care that includes medical, social, and wellness services tailored to the unique needs of each participant and member. Previously at Landmark Health as Regional Medical Officer of New England and National Chief of Geriatrics and Longitudinal Care at Optum Home, I honed my skills in healthcare management, interdisciplinary team based medicine, clinical operations, business development, community provider and client relationships and electronic health record development while being the clinical leader of a team of over 400 physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, care coordinators and outreach specialists throughout New England. Our mission was clear: deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to the elderly in their homes, a commitment I proudly carry into my current role. At Optum, my focus is on innovating care delivery models that align with our culture of empathy and excellence, ensuring our aging population receives the highest quality of life.
