Joined as a non-Exec when the company was struggling with their financing strategy. I facilitated successful equity raise which in turn released substantial funding from InnovateUK. This freed up huge amounts of management time to focus on business growth, interact with clients and sell their software. Asked to be Chairman last summer I now support the CEO in holding all Executives and Non-Executive Directors to account in fulfilling actions determined at the board meetings; support and promote high standards of corporate governance, offering checks and balances needed; support CEO in ensuring that Board members receive accurate and timely information along with maintaining an understanding of their views, issues and concerns. Guide on hiring, remuneration, client communication and general sales strategy. Work with the CEO to maintain a positive and constructive communication with all shareholders recognising their importance as vital advocates of TotalControlPro™.
