Is responsible for the operations of the freight rail track/planning section (12+ professionals) including staff growth, staff development, technical leadership, quality control, marketing support and coordination with other disciplines. Other responsibilities include the following: serving as a Senior Engineer on freight rail projects, project management (including planning, directing, and monitoring) of projects from concept through final design, management of subconsultants and technical support staff, exceeding client expectations for quality/schedule/budget, maintaining close relationships with existing and potential clients, assisting with business development for the freight rail market, tracking upcoming project opportunities, and collaborating on project pursuits. Selects, trains, develops, and manages technical personnel, and works cooperatively with other senior engineers in local and regional marketing and production efforts.Career Development Training:Completed Dale Carnegie People Skills Training (2020). Completed Technical and Leadership Optimization Network (TaLON) in 2021 - a knowledge transfer program. Completed Career Skills 1 in 2022.
