Strategically direct HR operations across 13 power generation sites comprised of ~600 employees; core oversight includes but not limited to talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, performance management, payroll/benefits administration, training and development. • Manage a team comprised of an HR Generalist and HR Administrator to execute daily HR administrative functions (i.e, recruiting, systems administration, offer extension, background screening, exit interviews, etc.).• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g, coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, and terminations). • Serve as the business unit’s HR subject matter expert and administrator for all aspects of leave of absence (i.e, FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, Worker’s comp, etc.). • Oversee fact-finding process and provide input when necessary, during investigations related to site grievances and employee disciplinary issues. • Partner with executive leadership including the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and VP of Operations to improve workplace relationships, improve morale, and drive productivity and retention by analyzing key workforce data – such as employee retention, grievance trends, and satisfaction metrics – and implementing targeted strategies based on findings. • Partner with two labor unions to manage disciplinary actions in alignment with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), ensuring consistent compliance. • Collaborate closely with legal to develop contractual agreements, mitigate risks, and remain abreast on the implementation of new local, state, and federal laws. • Provides full cycle HR guidance for transitions (M&A), which includes contract review and recommendations based on CAMS business practices.• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database.
