Postdoctoral Researcher in Inorganic Chemistry – University Claude Bernard Lyon 1\"Design and study of selenium-based molecular precursors for the gas-phase deposition of 2D materials: Toward electronic and optoelectronic applications\"In this postdoctoral project, I am working on the development and characterization of novel selenium-containing molecular precursors for the gas-phase synthesis of two-dimensional (2D) chalcogenide materials. These materials hold promise for applications in electronics, optoelectronics, and energy-related technologies. The work includes- Molecular design and synthesis of selenium-based metal-organic compounds with tailored volatility and reactivity- Characterization of thermal behavior and stability (TGA/DSC, IR, NMR)- Evaluation of suitability for Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and related techniques- Collaboration with national and international partners involved in advanced 2D material growth and device integration- Contribution to structure–property relationships in view of optimizing deposition processes and final material performance. This research is part of the ANR-funded project TUNNE2D, aiming to push the frontiers of controlled synthesis of functional 2D materials for next-generation electronic devices.
