About Anthony Santoro
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Anthony has been responsible for broad residential, commercial real estate, development and non-performing loan portfolios. His asset management responsibilities have included overseeing development, repositioning, liquidation, in house & third-party property management, revenue management, marketing, leasing, dispositions, vendor selection, and monitoring. Mr. Santoro’s experiences includes underwriting, value-add and distressed asset investment, real estate repositioning and development, servicing of real estate and non- performing loans, real estate financing, as well as cash and risk management. Mr. Santoro has developed a proven ability to improve operations, impact business growth, and maximize profits through efficient financial management, cost reductions, internal controls, reporting, modeling, system development, productivity/efficiency improvements, and staff development/leadership. Prior to joining GS, he had overseen the acquisition, development, and sale of over $3 billion of principal or $1 billion in investments comprised of over 2,500 real estate loan relationships. This includes over assets and the sale of 2,100 new development inventory, 1300 existing residential inventory, and 1600 commercial properties and land parcels over the last 22 years. Specialties: Being involved in a Spanish culture environment for over 21 years, while interacting with & reporting too large institutional stateside equity and debt partners and resources, has allowed him to develop a unique business understanding. Highly qualified in financial & real estate management, principal investment, due diligence, business planning, development, project management and staff development/leadership. He has overseen operations with teams of over 50 employees & 100 third party contractors with operational budgets in excess of $10 million annually and overall investments of over $1 billion.
