Monitoring contractor\'s performance and provide IT oversight for the Dept of State\'s Office of Aviation\'s Program. Organized and managed the transition from the previous contractor to the current contractor and orchestrating a seamless transition with no degradation of services. Participated in the contract negotiations for a one year extension of services, ensuring the program requirements are met with the most cost effective approach possible. Serve as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO), established and enforced IT policy and procedures. Ensured that systems are configured, operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with all relevant organization’s security guidelines. Analyze budget proposals to provide justification/memorandum for review and approval by the Division Chief, Officer Director or other senior level manager. Evaluated program effectiveness in relation to the funding expended. Manage daily IT operations in austere locations of South Americas and Middles east countries, by monitoring network connections, systems, end user applications, and maintained a 98% operation rate in supporting the organization’s missions. Head the local IT Change Control Board, approving authority of software and hardware technical input for configuration management. Coordinating and de-conflicting request changes to ensure there is no adverse impact to all functional areas when changes are made. Communicate to the Division Chief and other senior IT specialists with managing and reviewing of current and future IT resources, strategic planning, requirements, projects, assignments, initiatives, systems including computer and local/wide area networks.
