I’ve spent 25+ years solving problems most people don’t know exist—until a vessel loses power, a fuel claim shuts down a terminal, or a regulation changes overnight.My career started in the engine room. I earned my BS in Marine Systems Engineering and USCG Unlimited HP Engineering License from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, then went on to earn my MBA in Finance from Tulane. I’ve been a marine surveyor with the American Bureau of Shipping, a vessel owner, a territory manager for ExxonMobil’s marine lubricants division, and for 17 years I served as COO of John W. Stone Oil Distributor—operating a 68-unit marine fleet and 15 docks and terminals across the Lower Mississippi, ICW, and Gulf of Mexico.Today, I lead marine operations at Sunoco Marine, where I’m focused on expanding Sunoco’s physical bunker supply footprint across the Gulf Coast and beyond.Beyond operations, I co-chair IMO and USCG subcommittees on LNG bunkering, marine bunkering safety, and decarbonization. I serve on the US Department of Energy’s Marine Decarbonization Board of Advisors, and I’m Secretary of the Louisiana Clean Fuels Executive Board.
