ABOUT ANTHONY MCGAREL
I am an experienced senior leader used to managing multi disciplinary teams and significant budgets. My background is in financial services as a qualified accountant and Finance Director. Experienced in both private and public sector roles.I enjoy working hard and working with people. I have an excellent track record of working with people to develop their skills and manage performance. My experience has also enabled me to facilitate culture change, performance, processes and pace which has lead to efficiencies and improved outcomes. As well as working on the day to day business both at an operational and strategic level I have also been able to manage significant capital projects resulting in multi million pound investments in new properties. Bringing together internal and external stakeholders and professional teams is essential to project management.I also play an active role in the community working with the local authorities and serving as a Chairman of the Board for an Academy and a Director of a multi academy trust. Finally I also enjoy football and work with a youth team to help develop their skills and enjoyment.
