Identified and developed actions to address vulnerabilities in the control environment and operational risk including unauthorized trading controls, technology’s weaknesses in Information Security and Business Resilience, LIBOR rate submission remediation, supervisory action on the Finance division, and Internal Audit. • Enriched continuous monitoring through timely reporting, such as Monthly Summaries, Risk Assessments and audit issues. Meetings with the Head of Operations led to improved and expedited understanding of operational risks, and loss events, derivative confirmation process and rogue trading controls. • Enhanced the supervisory processes by implementing analytical changes to cross-institutional analysis of LFI accounting, modified documentation request for exams, and drafted Supervisory and Regulation Letter 13-1 (Supplemental Policy Statement on the Internal Audit Function and Its Outsourcing). • Interpret accounting and audit rule changes to Statistics team and members of the Accounting Advisory Panel.
