I\'m a full-time member of the teaching faculty in the School of English, Communication and Philosophy, and from 1 October 2013 Director of the Centre for Editorial and Intertextual Research. My role involves the design and delivery of teaching at both undergraduate and Master\'s levels, as well as supervision of PhD candidates. Within CEIR, I organise a regular programme of visiting speakers, develop collaborative research projects and grant applications, and provide consultation on a variety of topics, including history of the book, print culture and digital humanities.

ABOUT ANTHONY MANDAL
I\'m a graduate of the Universities of Durham (BA) and Wales (MA, PhD). My research focuses principally on nineteenth-century literature and its engagement with contemporary print culture. I am also interested in the gothic, book history and digital humanities. I am Director of the Centre for Editorial & Intertextual Research at Cardiff, Past President off the British Association for Romantic Studies and a member of the recently launched Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultures Research at Cardiff. I have written books and essays on Jane Austen, the gothic, print and digital cultures, contemporary fiction, and the digital humanities. In 2009, I became one of the General Editors of the New Edinburgh Edition of the Collected Works of Robert Louis Stevenson, which is to be published in 39 volumes between 2012 and 2020. I also edit the online journal Romantic Textualities: Literature and Print Culture, 1780–1840. I am currently working on a multi-authored project, The Cambridge Feminist History of Women\'s Writing, from the Middle Ages to the Present, which draws on the huge Orlando digital textbase to trace the crucial role played by women in the history and development of English Literature.
