It is always fortunate when we get a chance to grow and learn something new. I appreciate the opportunity to learn about this very important area of our department. I will be working alongside a very tenured and respected team of two sergeants, five detectives and one professional staff. I am currently the Internal Affairs Lieutenant at The Mesa Police Department. I have 33+ years of experience across a wide range of disciplines within our agency. I am humbled and appreciative of the opportunities given me in this career. I have been blessed to work alongside and learn from a multitude of exceptional individuals across these many years. I am also an Army veteran and a recipient of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command Franklin M. Kreml Leadership Award, which recognizes the dedication, devotion, ethics, sense of justice, and professional values that exemplify the kind of leadership needed in today\'s law enforcement community.
