ABOUT ANTHONY KERSLAKE
I take charities from where they are to where they could be. In my role, I grew annual income from under £1M to over £3.1M, built a team from four to twelve, and created the strategy and infrastructure for sustainable growth. My specialism is principal gift fundraising rooted in growing individual and mass participation fundraising. I founded the Grateful Giving Programme from scratch at Frimley, personally closed a principal gift, and directed a £1M+ Dementia Capital Campaign. Alongside that, I launched a lottery generating over £1M annually, improved donor retention from 62% to 78%, and built the corporate programme with partners including Lenovo, SC Johnson and Royal Windsor Racecourse. I care as much about building high-performing teams as I do about income growth. Four of my direct reports grew into senior practitioners under my leadership, and during an extended director vacancy I maintained board confidence, strategic momentum and a culture of ambition throughout. I now bring this experience to a Trustee role at Fitzroy, a £60M national charity supporting people with learning disabilities. I am seeking a Director of Fundraising role where I can apply this depth to an organisation with genuine ambition. If that sounds like yours, I would welcome a conversation.
