Nature Capital Partners has been established to support developers in offsetting their impact on the natural world. Through the provision of nature recovery projects in strategic locations and the creation of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Habitat Banks, the company assists developers in making sure that they leave the natural environment in a better state.We strongly believe that the integrity and financial security of the Habitat Banks are absolutely critical to the successful implementation of the new BNG regulations and that this will become the key differentiator in the market place.Nature Capital Partners owns, rather than leases, all the Habitat Bank land we operate and the company will remain responsible for the on-going management over the required 30 year period, rather than relying on others. The funding for each of the projects is set aside at the outset and ring fenced for the duration of the project in secured funds, to ensure that each is financed over the whole 30 year period.We believe that this gives our customers the comfort in the knowledge that they can rely on the projects to deliver the required benefits to the natural environment without any future reputational risk or impact from failed projects.Through well considered natural capital projects, the much needed development can be achieved in a sustainable way to ensure that we leave our planet better off for future generations.
