Running to be elected to the five-person Commission overseeing the Port of Olympia. For the past three years I\'ve volunteered on the Port\'s Citizens Advisory Committee and Chair its Economic Development Committee. The Port of Olympia is a special-purpose government that works to grow Thurston County\'s economy. It is a major landowner in the County and runs the international marine terminal, the Olympia Airport, and the Swantown Marina and Boatworks. See for more campaign information. Port Commissioner is part-time and close-to-volunteer work, so I will continue working with Hemstad Consulting into the foreseeable future as well.
