Leading the team for construction and subsequent commissioning, maintenance management and training on an new build LNG plant in Angola. Ensuring IEC 61508 and 61511 compliance. Overseeing and approving equipment and design with our main contractor Bechtel. Attending factory acceptance tests at our vendors sites worldwide. Specify and approve equipment and spares for start up and maintenance. Ensure preservation of equipment while awaiting installation and subsequent commissioning. Write Scope of work and maintenance procedures. Specify test equipment and set up maintenance department using SAP CMMS program, including BOM,s. Interview and hire Maintenance personnel. Supervise and mentor the maintenance personnel in their daily work activities, while adhering to safe working practises. Witness all SIL/SIF/SIS functions. Facility consists of: a single train Conoco Phillips optimised cascade LNG/LPG plant utilising Foundation Fieldbus Honeywell DCS, GE/Pignone Frame 7 and Frame 6 gas turbine driven compressors and power plant using Siemens SGT 600 GTG,s. Storage tanks and loading jetties, with SVT loading arms. Review workpacks and coordinate shutdown turnaround maintenance.
