Accomplished law enforcement professional with 26 years of distinguished service with the Los Angeles Police Department, currently leading the West Traffic Division (WTD). In this role, I oversee comprehensive traffic safety operations across 124 square miles of the Operations West Bureau, directing specialized units in collision investigation, traffic enforcement, DUI operations, and street racing suppression through strategic traffic enforcement, education, and engineering initiatives.My extensive career has provided me with unique, first-hand field experience across multiple dimensions of modern policing—as a sworn officer, manager, leader, and technology innovator. Previously, I led the department’s Innovation Management Division, where I developed deep expertise in evaluating and implementing technology solutions that drive measurable improvements in public safety and operational efficiency.Throughout my tenure, I have fostered collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including technology vendors, department personnel across all ranks and divisions, the City Attorney’s office, City Council, Los Angeles Police Foundation, Board of Police Commissioners, and law enforcement agencies both domestically and internationally.
