As the Office Manager for the Neurosurgery Clinic at UF Health Jacksonville, I oversee the daily operations and financial activities of a busy and complex medical practice. I am responsible for managing the staff, scheduling, billing, registration, collections, eligibility, benefits, and authorization processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.I have a master\'s degree in health administration from the University of North Florida, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in health care management, quality improvement, strategic planning, and data analysis. I also have a diploma of medical assistant from Kaplan College-Jacksonville, where I learned how to perform vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs. I am proficient in using Epic, Recondo, E-Sig/Passport, and SAS Visual Analytic software to manage and optimize the workflow and performance of the clinic.I am passionate about providing excellent customer service and patient care, as well as improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the health care system. I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team of physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies. I am also an experienced public speaker, having delivered presentations and workshops on various topics related to health administration. My goal is to continue to grow and develop as a health care leader and to contribute to the success and innovation of UF Health Jacksonville.
