ABOUT ANTHONY CONCEPCION

I’m an IT operations leader with executive accountability for reliability, service quality, business continuity, and information security.Across my last several roles, including my current position as VP of IT, I’ve been brought in to reform and mature IT operations; establishing ITIL-aligned service management practices where they didn’t exist, or reshaping them where they weren’t working. My focus is not simply running IT, but building operating models that scale, adapt, and continuously improve.I lead enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and the organization’s information security program, supporting a fast-moving, people-centric business. I operate through an ITIL-driven service management lens, with deep experience implementing and evolving problem management, incident response, change governance, and clear service ownership.I’ve led major incident response efforts, built escalation and on-call models, and partnered with legal and executive leadership on privacy, risk, and security governance. I also own the security roadmap and risk posture, working closely with a dedicated security administrator who drives day-to-day operations and technical design.I’m at my best working across functions; partnering with operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership to balance risk, cost, and delivery. I value clear communication, practical controls, and disciplined improvement over one-time fixes.At the end of the day, my job is simple: keep the business running today, strengthen it for tomorrow, and ensure IT and security are trusted partners, not bottlenecks.
