With over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and project controls in the oil and gas industry, I am a Senior Cost Analyst at CTS Complete Technical Services, providing professional financial management of large industrial operations for Citgo. I have a BA in Finance from Texas A&M University and a CPA certification, as well as extensive SAP and Oracle Primavera skills.In my current role, I leverage my expertise in cost engineering, analysis, reporting, and control to ensure budget compliance, reporting accuracy, and the proactive establishment of financial and operational controls for multi-million dollar projects. In my previous role as a Cost Manager & Reporting/Data Analyst at Faithful+Gould, I was responsible for the cost accounting and financial analysis of the $900MM Eagle Ford program and the $100MM Permian Basin project for Citgo, spanning four years. I spearheaded a savings of over $10MM by using change management to address engineering cost overruns. I also monitored and controlled manpower usage and costs for more than 500 personnel and subcontractors.I am a member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineers International (AACEI), and I constantly seek to improve my knowledge and skills in the field of cost engineering. I am motivated by challenging and complex projects that require analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as teamwork and communication skills.
