ABOUT ANTHONY CATALA
Anthony is currently the Vice President of Creative Strategy at Serino Coyne. During his time here, he has been responsible for overseeing the creative campaigns of some of Broadway\'s most successful shows and entertainment institutions, including Wicked; Disney’s The Lion King, Aladdin, Frozen and Newsies; The Outsiders (Tony Award); Kimberly Akimbo (Tony Award); Topdog/Underdog (Tony Award); The Boys in the Band (Tony Award); and many others. Other past and present clients have included Netflix, National Geographic, MoMA, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and New York Philharmonic, among many others. Before joining the team at Serino Coyne, Anthony was a senior copywriter at SpotCo, where he worked on the advertising campaigns for dozens of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and live theater events, including Evita starring Ricky Martin, Cabaret, Pippin, After Midnight, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Catch Me if You Can, Lucky Guy starring Tom Hanks, The Mountaintop starring Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett, Waiting for Godot starring Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, Cirque du Soleil’s Zarkana and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Prior to his career in Broadway advertising, Anthony was a writer/producer at MTV Networks’ LGBTQ channel Logo. While there, he wrote, produced and sometimes directed over one hundred on-air promos, interstitials, teasers, and integrated marketing spots. His favorite assignment at Logo? Promoting the launch of their hit show “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” He still finds glitter in his clothing from time to time…
