I was employed to oversee and direct team of ~7 staff, focusing on daily management of UK based System Administration team, ensuring team performance and ongoing development by providing world-class IT support via Zendesk IT Helpdesk system, ensuring efficient resolution of staff queries. I manage, track and resolve issues, change controls, bespoke project rollouts and live fault escalations, alongside releasing management and patching practices, ensuring they are followed and adhered to at all stages. I also provide proactive daily management and support for internet related infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, VPN tunnels / personal VPN tokens, firewalls, mobile devices, tablets, wireless internet and backup systems. Key achievements: Ensured security of all IT systems in compliance to PCI-DSS & ISO27001 IS Certifications. Designed and deployed a new Reward site in Dubai, providing operational support for 30 office users. Architected Veeam backup / replication system, ensuring data resilience and operational continuity. Spearheaded review, optimization and enhancement of Qualys Vulnerability Management and Detection Response Platform, significantly improving efficiency and security posture.
