I represent clients in the construction and real estate development industry, including owners and contractors, in federal and state court litigation as well as arbitration. I represent owners and contractors from the inception of a project, help them identify and reduce risk factors, and maximize the opportunities for success through contract drafting and negotiation as well as proactive counseling. Project sizes range from seven figures to in excess of $1.5 billion. I have approximately thirty years of experience in resolving disputes, including claims based on delay, extra work and construction defects. I also litigate complex commercial litigation matters in a variety of industries including technology, banking and insurance. I have successfully tried and arbitrated many cases to winning verdicts and awards. I also serve as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association.
