ABOUT ANTHONY BARKER

I am a competent IT professional, with over 30 years of extensive experience in software design and development including 12+ years in system/application development using Ab Initio and Ab Initio certified. My core strengths include system/application design, development and testing, production support and team management. I am well versed in building out the next generation of global financial market data systems to support company’s front office trading, middle office processes and back office risk, finance and compliance reporting. I have successfully developed a legacy system viz. Credit Derivatives Exchange project and the USA financial regulator requirement viz. Gross Customer Margining project for NYSE Euronext, delivering them on time and to budget. I have expertise in writing system test plans, defining test cases, developing and maintaining test scripts, documenting all phases of SDLC and release management. I am proficient in preparing functional specification document, technical design document and code documentation coupled with exposure to Integration testing. I have demonstrated capabilities in leveraging various Ab Initio components to develop complex batch and continuous graphs.
