Hello, my name is Anthony Artino and I am currently a senior at Kent State University, pursuing a major in Applied Mathematics with a double concentration in Probability & Statistics and Financial Mathematics, as well as a minor in Computer Science and Digital Media Production. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in data analysis, financial modeling, and many quantitative skills. My coursework in Probability & Statistics has sharpened my ability to analyze and interpret data, while my studies in Financial Mathematics have deepened my understanding of financial systems and modeling. I am proficient in coding languages such as Python, MATLAB, R Studio, and Excel, which I have applied to various projects whether if they were for school or for my own creative studies, all enhancing my analytical capabilities. My commitment to academic excellence is reflected in the dedication to mastering my schoolwork and achieving the highest grades. My work and attention to details has always been my number one priority for success. Earning a place on both the Dean’s and President’s Lists throughout my academic journey is a testament to the hard work and dedication that I am willing to invest in achieving my goals.When it comes to my minor in digital media production, I am also skilled in photography and video production through experience using a Canon camera to capture high-quality images as well as creating full-length videos. I edit and enhance my content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, which allows me to produce professional-grade media for various projects. This talent is valuable as it enables me to communicate complex ideas visually, making information more accessible, and even engage in both academic and professional contexts.In addition to my academic achievements, I also have a part-time job at the Kent State University, Department of Mathematics. At the administrative office, I am responsible for managing the front desk, working with Excel reports, booking classrooms, and organizing files & documents. I am also involved in a research seminar course focusing on mathematical modeling, in which I put together complex, analytical reports and create live presentations. As I continue my studies, I am excited to apply my academic knowledge and practical experience in any professional setting available.
