About Anthony Ardire

Anthony J. Ardire, MD, MPH, FAAP, CPE received his BS and MPH degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his MD degree from Temple University and completed his residency at St. Christopher\'s Hospital for Children. Passionate about his work to improve healthcare quality and patient safety, Dr. Ardire joined the Lehigh Valley Health Network in June 2006. He serves as Senior Vice President, Quality and Patient Safety. Previously, Dr. Ardire had physician leadership roles with Tenet Healthcare, as Regional Chief Medical Officer; with Studer Group, as Coach and Medical Director; with Penn State Hershey Medical Center, as Chief Quality Officer; with US Healthcare/Aetna, as Regional Medical Director; with Ross Labs, Pediatric Division of Abbott Labs, as National Pediatric Services Medical Director; and with Guthrie Clinic, as Associate in Pediatrics and Director, Level II NICU. His goals are to develop and implement successful performance measurement and improvement systems to improve clinical care, improve health of populations and lower cost of care for the populations we serve. He is committed to teach the new generation of physicians the tools necessary for future success. He also serves on the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania and University Healthsystem Consortium Quality Councils.
