About Anthika Gunaselan

I’m Anthika Gunaselan, a proud Eugene McDermott Scholar studying Data Science with a minor in Insurance at UT Dallas. I’m all about using tech and data to drive real-world change, whether it’s optimizing systems or empowering communities. This summer, I’m excited to be joining JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a 2025 Technology Internal Audit Summer Analyst in the Corporate Sector. It’s the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into tech-driven risk, control systems, and the fast-moving world of financial innovation. Last summer, I interned at Liberty Bankers Insurance Group, where I built machine learning models (99.8% accuracy ) to predict agent performance and analyze customer policy data using R and SQL. I also helped build an AI model that detects campus safety threats—like arson or fights—and we scored 2nd place at UTD’s annual AI competition!🧠 On campus, I’m the Industry Officer for the UTD AI Society, organizing hackathons and conferences that bring students face-to-face with leaders in AI. I’ve also represented UTD as a 2x National Model UN delegate and founded Project 10–10/Clarity, an initiative providing free math education and mentorship to over 300 students.
