ABOUT ANTHEA WEILAND

Currently pursuing a B.S. in International Business and Finance at Menlo College with a 4.0 GPADuring the 2023 Global Scaling Challenge hosted by the UNM Anderson School of Management my team and I have been able to secure the first place where we consulted three space-tech startups and provided them with recommendations how to scale their businesses including funding, product development, partnerships, talent acquisition, emerging technologies, market entry and marketing strategies. Beyond the classroom, I have embraced diverse cultural experiences through exchange programs in Dubai, China, and Poland, fostering a global perspective that improved my approach to problem-solving and collaboration. German Dual Sport Student Athlete involved in the Menlo College Women’s Tennis and SoccerTeam.With a lifelong passion for tennis, I am not only a competitive player but also a dedicated coach. As President of the Living Learning Community for creativity & innovation and Vice President of the Business & Environment Club, I actively drive initiatives that promote sustainability and foster entrepreneurial spirit on campus.Committed to giving back to my community, I have volunteered in various capacities, including youth work, refugee support, and parish engagement. These experiences have shaped my values of empathy, leadership, and service, driving me to make a meaningful difference wherever I go.
