About Anthe Capitan-Valais
I am a fine artist with the goal of creating distinctive art that spreads joy while glorifying God Almighty. My current work are paintings and works on paper from movement. The works are created as a unique performance art experience that integrates the techniques of visual art and movement primarily derived from musical and dance performances. When taking in a piece of fine art, the viewer only sees the finished product. They can experience it for as long as they wish to view it. When watching a dance or musical performance, the audience sees the performance happening and unfolding right before their eyes. However, movement is transient; it exists in one moment and the audience is left with only a memory. My goal is to combine the visual art and the dance art in such a way that the moving process of the artwork is revealed while the dance is given a measure of permanence. As a freelance artist, I create fine art and commercial art alike; Paintings, Original and Digital Prints, Mixed Media and Collage, Caricatures, Cartoon Portraits, House Portraits, Business Portraits, & Illustrations.
