PhD in Biomechanical Engineering with expertise in leveraging biomechanics, robotics, and data science to drive innovation in medical devices and health technologies. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Deep Learning in AI & Robotics, with advanced coursework in machine learning, deep learning, data visualization, and medical robotics.I’m experienced in Python, MATLAB, and R for data analysis, signal processing, algorithm development, and computational modeling, with expertise in time-series and regression analysis, statistical parametric mapping, PCA, and predictive modeling. I have a strong background in applied machine learning and computer vision (scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow), including model development, validation, and optimization for biomedical applications.I have hands-on experience building and integrating electromechanical systems and industrial robots with LabVIEW, sensors, actuators, and motion capture for biomechanical testing, and using OpenSim for musculoskeletal modeling. I also have mechanical design and prototyping skills using SolidWorks, CNC machining, and 3D printing.I’ve worked closely with surgeons in the operating room, with fluency in surgical terminology and a solid understanding of anatomy and surgical techniques. I bring strong spatial and kinematic reasoning, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical skills, and thrive in dynamic, interdisciplinary environments where clinical and engineering perspectives intersect.I\'m passionate about increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in STEM, minimizing the disconnect between science and policy, and utilizing engineering and data science to make positive impacts in society, especially in disadvantaged communities.
